South Georgia - Stromness
After hiking in Shackleton's footsteps from Fortuna Bay, we explored the area around the abandoned whaling station of Stromness. The ruins were off-limits but the wildlife was plentiful and accommodating. The bay is so deep that our ship, the Endurance, could pull close up to shore!
