Switzerland

I spent a couple days in Zurich for meetings, and managed to take one day for an excursion to the east ... past the town of Appenzeller and up to the tiny village of Wasseraun, where I hiked through fresh snow to the beautiful tarn called Seealpsee. Sadly, the clouds never lifted, so I was unable to glimpse the impressive 4000m peaks that rise far above. My high point was about 1200m.
