Lion kill

In the Serengeti we came across a group of hyenas, rather excited. Knowing something was up, the guide suggested we search the tall grasses nearby. Sure enough, there were two lionesses just beginning to dine on their freshly killed zebra. The hyenas were anxious to get their turn, and we watched for nearly an hour as the lionesses ate, then turned over the meal to the hyenas, who later allowed vultures and storks to join in the feast.
