New Zealand - Cook Strait

The Cook Strait separates the North and South Islands; we took a three-hour ferry ride from Wellington (North Island) to Picton (South Island), and returned 8 days later. The Tory Channel and Queen Charlotte Sound, at the south end, were the most photogenic. See blog at https://davidkotz.org/2009/06/11/cook-strait/.
