New Zealand - Aoraki from the east

Of the 150 photos I shot during our approach, sunset, and sunrise in the Mt. Cook valley, these are some of my favorites. They can only begin to capture the spectacular views that surround you in this glacial valley at the foot of Aoraki/Mt. Cook. Shot near the winter solstice [at 4:19-5:02pm June 14 (sunset) and 8:17-8:28am June 15].
