Eagles - February
Three eagles – one mature and two immature – gathered next to the frozen Connecticut River, during a snowstorm, attracted by a deer carcass on the ice. They were reluctant to feed while I was nearby, but they remained in the area a long time, flew from tree to tree, and interacted in interesting ways.
