A lovely hike with Lelia up Mount Cube during a snowstorm - followed by a typical chubber adventure involving misplaced car keys, a car with its engine running, locked doors with us outside and the car keys on the inside, friendly dogs, even more-friendly strangers in the house nearby, tea and cookies with said strangers while the locked car continues to run, firewood stacked for said neighbors while wondering when AAA might ever show up, and an inventive neighbor who figured out how break into our car and save the day. You meet the nicest people when you strand yourself in rural New Hampshire!
