Moosilauke-May

A sunrise hike on Mount Moosilauke, on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I hit the Glencliff Trail at 2:46am, reached the Carriage Road at 4:36, layered-up and reached the summit of South Peak before 5am to watch the sunrise hoping for some sidelight on the main summit. No luck. Reached the main summit at 6:07am in a strong and gusty wind. The hike down was a pleasure as I passed from winter into spring, with plentiful wildflowers. Out by 8:30am!
